Program

This program takes the form of a journey with the guitar, an overview of how the dance music genre has been transfigured in the six strings

of this instrument. Original pieces mixed with compositions arranged specifically for this ensemble, help us tracing a rich and changing path, in which the countless possibilities of this instrument.

Dances from different styles and eras are offered with the intention of enhancing the timbres and colors of the classical guitar. In its particularity, this formation in fact allows, through a careful work of transcription and research, to explore and concert in an original way works by composers who have not dedicated themselves to this ensemble, but whose musical value transcends the instrument with which they come to life.
