Bio

The Entòs quartet, formed by Dante Bignoli, Tarcisia Bonacina, Davide Crenna and Gianluigi Ubezio, was born in 2017 from the common desire of its members to combine chamber music and solo performance's activities.

Individually, the four guitarists have participated in numerous masterclasses with some of the most important international names such as Judicael Perroy, Lorenzo Micheli, Matteo Mela, Enea Leone, Ricardo Gallen, Frank Bungarten, Walter Zanetti and Oscar Ghiglia. They also won several awards in national and international competitions.

Currently, they are engaged in expanding their repertoire, collaborating with composers and working on transcriptions of non-original repertoire adapted to their formation.

In 2019, they won the first prize at the "Città di Voghera" Competition in the category dedicated to guitar ensembles and give several recitals in collaboration with the Como Conservatory.

The name Entòs, literally "inland sea," comes from the Greek and leads back to an idea of the Mediterranean as a meeting place of different cultures, a spirit that unites the four members in proposing music and playing together.
